I went out to Soldier's Delight this morning, arrived around 9 am, it was cloudy but warm.  Skippers started popping out.  There were lots of Swarthy Skippers.  I also saw many Zabulon Skippers, both male and females.  I saw several Crossline Skippers and a couple of Dun Skippers. Also 1 Horace's and 2 Wild Indigo Duskywings and 1 Huron Sachem.

The Liatris looks to be about midway through it's bloom.

I did not see any Leonard's Skippers, probably too early for them.
I haven't seen Leonard's Skippers at Soldiers Delight since September 2016.
Several people have seen it at Soldiers Delight in 2017, 2018 and 2020, but none since then according to observations in Inaturalist.

Yes, I think the liatris is blooming earlier every year but the peak of Leonard’s is still Labor Day — which means there is almost no nectar for them when they emerge.
