Early Hairstreak and WV White at New River Gorge, WV - Apr 24

Well, I finally got struck by lightning.  While hiking in New River Gorge, an Early Hairstreak plopped down on the trail and stayed for a short photo-shoot.


On the return trip, a West Virginia White was hanging out in the same location


An interesting observation was that all of the numerous Pipevine Swallowtails seen and able to be sexed were females.
