I was originally planning to go to Canaan Valley, but the weather forecast was sketchy.
So I headed over to Eastern Neck NWR this morning - Lydia and Dennis Fravel had found good butterflies over there.

At the parking lot for the Tubby Cove boardwalk there is a small stand of blooming Dogbane.  I saw Salt Marsh and Aaron's Skippers there.  There was also a lot of Seaside
Dragonlets there (I failed to get a photo!)

I looked in the butterfly garden for Coral Hairstreaks on the Butterfly Weed but did not see any there.  As I walked around the "butterfly trail" I saw a very fresh Coral Hairstreak on Dogbane.  There was a lot of Dogbane and common Milkweed blooming at Eastern Neck.  On some of the Milkweed along headquarters road I photographed the only Broad Wing Skipper I saw today.  It started raining around 2 pm so I headed home.
