I picked up a migratory Common Green Darner in Prince Georges County at Knowles Marsh 1 at Patuxent Research Refuge yesterday (March 10th).  Jason Avery saw them in Calvert County the day before (March 9th).  This the earliest records ever for Maryland.

Also picked up Question Marks and Eastern Commas on the wing at the Refuge yesterday.

I'll be interested in seeing whether Uhler's Sundragon will be on the wing in Green Ridge when we do the annual spring butterfly count there on April 4.  Pretty sure after the last two days that Olympia Marbles are already on the wing (the earliest I've had them flying there is St. Patrick's Day).
