Brookside Garden - Ocola Skipper

Stopped by Brookside Gardens this morning at about 9 am.
Second butterfly that I saw was the one I was looking for, an Ocola Skipper.
There were plenty of other butterflies there, lots of Tigers, quite a few skippers and a fresh Red Admiral.  This is a great place to look for fall skippers, and you don't have to worry so much about ticks and chiggers!

That may be where I take my upcoming (September) skipper boot camp field trip. I think it’s safe to say we won’t go looking for Leonard’s as we would have in previous times. 

Will be there, the National Arboretum, or HoCo Conservancy.
