Hi all,

We'll be hosting two dragonfly counts again this year, the third annual Rappahannock County count on June 14th, and the fifth annual Clifton Institute count on June 22nd. These counts are similar to NABA counts except the count circles are bigger and the data are available to all here. We've found 49-58 species on each count and highlights have included Appalachian Jewelwing, Aurora Damsel, Lilypad Forktail, Sphagnum Sprite, Vesper Bluet, Laura's, Rapids, and Sable Clubtails, Yellow-sided Skimmer, Double-ringed Pennant, and Dot-tailed Whiteface.

People of all skill levels are welcome but we are always in need of intermediate or advanced observers. There are so many interesting habitats to cover.

Please let me know if you'd like to join one of these counts.

Thank you!
Bert
