First Skipper I have seen this year.
I think both were Juvenal's Duskywings.
Got a photo of the first one off of Cliff Road by campsite 85.
Lots of Northern Azures there as well (as Rick noted).
Saw a number of Falcate Orange Tips, Cabbage Whites and an Orange Sulphur.
I didn't see any Olympias.

Barry Marts joined me.
Ran into Kyle Klots and Dennis and Lydia Fravel during the day.

Well, Walt, that makes you the winner of the "First Skipper" contest for 2026 should you choose to accept! Prize is a copy of the Butterflies of Indiana, if you don't already own it.  I'll bring the copy with me Saturday.

Rick,
I already have a copy, I guess you can save it for next year, or give it to the next person who finds a skipper.

Thanks anyways!
