What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start the program (simply start it, NOT with right click - run as
administrator)
2. Change settings
3. Exit the program
4. Restart the program

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Changes in settings are preserved. Instead, the program always starts up
with default settings.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.6b4, Win7 English x64.

Please provide any additional information below.
Seems to be okay if the program is started with right click - run as
administrator.

I have the same issue in Windows 8.1 x64.
