Sadly most of the virtual desktop utils have this issue. So far I failed to
find one where the order would not change. Other utils seem to rearange it
by the window creation time. So far I coulndt observe the logic how the
order changes with mdesktop. I would like to use this util since I need a
lot of windows during my work and could group them on different desktops.
Unfortunately since the order changes, I need some time to find a specific
window, so the advantages of the util is lost again...
I hope this issue can be fixed, it would raise mdesktop above all the other
similar apps that I know. Keep up the good work, I wish you all the best...

I am looking for a desktop manager that would allow me to specify a number
of applications to be minimized and maximized as a group, and that would,
as a minimum, have a dialog box that would allow me to set the z-order
(including always-on-top status). Can mdesktop do this?
