Dear Friends,
Happy MahaSivaRatri to all of you. Just want to put out one marketing-pitch,note or advice on real estate investment. If you are a like minded people like me, please just reply back to me or call me with any of your questions.
Things to note to have at least one real estate investment property either residential or commercial here in US. Around 30 min driving range from us we can find good investment properties that can produce positive cash flow. Investment in northern Virginia is also a good option, but we can only get positive cash flow on residential properties in VA in theory only, but difficult practically on residential properties. Since I believe about 90% of the folks doesn't return back to India, some things to consider on one long term investment for your portfolio diversification:
1) What if the Social Security did not provide you enough retirement income after you retire?
2) What if the returns on your stock portfolio or 401k savings are not enough for your retirement income after you supported your kids bachelors/masters education?
3) What if you could not able to bring enough money you have in India back here after their disposal?
4) What if your relatives supporting your properties in India got busy with their kids activities or unable to take care of your properties there due to age limitations?
I am exploring the commercial investment options in our area, where one can give out a 10 to 20 year net lease (tenant pays all taxes and maintenance), so you can get steady earnings. Also I can share 50% of my profit with any transaction you go through me. If you are busy and do not want to deal with property management, I can able to take care of it with half the cost of most realtors charge in this area.
We can utilize Rajani's photography services, if anyone need to sell their property with nice professional pictures in the ad, if Rajani is interested in doing so. I am certainly come to your restaurant Lohiya for any business lunches...
