Hi all,
Invested in a new scanner and am amazed how much difference it makes. Attached is a photo from 1963 taken in Military Road Chatham of DH448 GKR746. There previous scan was hardly worth keeping but this much better. You are welcome to download and print this photo. Just mark the back with 'Copyright Martin Coull'

Now just have to rescan another 2000 or so 35mm Negatives.....

Hi Geoff,

No all my scans are fron the original negatives (or a few slides).
The ones I am doing are like that one where a combination of slightly out of focus  and/of camera shake and a lower quality scan made me think they were not acceptable. As I was training to be a Phoffessional Photographer at the time my standards are probably higher than average. These photos would never have been previously printed/ published.
Next job will be to add them to my database so I can find them again. Abbreviated sample attached.

Following an inquiry, asking if I was scanning paper prints, the following notes might explain more.
