Photographing coaches in Rochester definitely isn't as easy since the coach park closed, as the drop-off bay at the back of the now-former visitor centre is one of tight angles and inconveniently placed sunshine.

A little bit of internet research suggests YX06 AXR was in the care of Brian Jones coaches when seen on 17 September 2023 in the drop-off bay, a relatively unusual (for the Club area) Ferqui Solera-bodied Mercedes Atego.

From memory, and the suits in the background of the picture of GT 5431, there was a wedding at the Cathedral on 23 September 2023, and a number of minicoaches had been hired to provide transport. The registration suggests this likewise fleetname-less Mercedes was with Grange Travel of Gravesend, based (as with Brian Jones) in what must be the most densely depoted area of Kent. It was caught engaging in some seriously suspect parking outside the Corn Exchange.

Britannia's 528 is another Mercedes, with different bodywork to the Grange example, but a company that likes people to know who they are! This had slipped neatly into the almost perfectly sized spot just outside the Cathedral, in a road which doesn't seem to have a name - it could be an offshoot of Boley Hill, College Yard, or Minor Cannon Row.

The issues I mentioned in the post above were expertly evidenced (or inexpertly photographed) this weekend, with these two photos! I rarely see the Carey's fleet, which provided the impetus for these pictures (as did the -25- registration), but the strong winter sun behind the vehicle, and restricted space, really doesn't show these vehicles off at their finest!

BV68 OXU was Saturday's visitor, a Mercedes Tourismo that has been in the fleet three and a half years, whilst Sunday's eye-catching arrival was OO25 CTL, a Temsa HD13 which had presumably been in the fleet for about three and a half days.

To photograph Saturday's vehicle my back was against the low-wall visible in Sunday's picture - not sure what I could have done to improve Sunday's, other than wait an unspecified length of time for it to move!

(And on point of self-correction, the road is Minor Canon Row (one 'n') - Cathedral staff, not things that fire heavy balls on battlefields!)
