A bus stop I'm very familiar with is Lordswood Shopping Centre, a.k.a. "The Kestrel", it having been the nearest one to my parents' house and the start of many a bus journey until I moved further down the hill and further down the route to the present Chateau Secretary. I dread to think how many times I've been on a 166 over the last nearly 30 years.
The only one of the five dealer-stock vehicles acquired by Arriva yet to be featured here is 4144, which was caught in the terminal loop on 3rd January. The shelter was moved recently (now out of shot to the right) to allow a slight reshaping of the loop and allow the bus to come closer to the kerb on what was previously a fairly sharp corner.
Extensive parking restrictions, including camera enforcement, have been introduced here in the last couple of years to handle extensive illegal parking in what has always been a "buses only" loop by those whose little legs won't carry them from the car park on the other side of the road to Tesco.
