While attention may be deflected for a while to the Dover Fastrack operation while the new buses there are awaited, recent changes in the north-west Kent operations include the extension of E to Bluewater via a newly-opened section of busway from Castle Hill (pending construction of a tunnel under St Clements Way), and the separation of the service to and from Ingress Park near Greenhithe as new route F, illustrated by SEN60, while Irizar ieTram IE26 (which had recently returned to service after a short spell in storage) was seen on the A, both on 24th September.

I’ve just been talking to my daughter, who lives in Dartford, works at the Amazon site, and uses Fastrack regularly.

She made the observation that it looks bad that Go-Ahead’s new buses are not all in service yet – not because of a failure of Go-Ahead to get their act together, but because of the apparent incompetence of the respective council(s) in installing the infrastructure for their full operation.
