Does anyone have details of how the closure of Hawkhurst Bus Station
is being marked? There are rumours of vintage vehicles on Saturday,
although I have no further information.

Any details would be appreciated.

Yes, the event is being marked by the Club on Saturday 17/2/08 with a vintage bus running day centred on the Bus Station and with a display of vehicles in the Old Station Yard.  A network of free services is being operated by preserved vehicles to Roberstsbridge Station, Cranbrook and Northiam in timings detailed in a programme available on the day (£2)
Services operate from 0930 to 1500.
Your support for this event, organised with considerable effort, would be much appreciated.
