Arriva Changes In Kent Thameside From Sunday 9th August 2015.

Some of you may remember that i posted on gere regarding some changes in Kent Thameside (Arriva) and wasn't too sure about the changes. I Can confirm from my friend who dirves for Arriva the Following route are changing:

Fastrack B: Will run to revised timetables with buses running every 8 mins during the peak and every 10 during the main part of the day on Monday - Saturdays. Evening buses will run 5 mins later than at present 

306/308: Route will be revised during the day on Monday -Saturday between Bluewater, Swanscombe, Northfleet and Gravesend. Buses will continue to run hourly but will now start and finish at Gravesend, Garrick Street. Buses will leave Sevenoaks later than at present. Sunday and evening buses will STILL SERVE BLUEWATER 

423: The 1708 Monday - Friday bus from Dartford to New Ash Green via Bluewater will depart at 1714 and run 6 mins later throughout.

The 1515 Mondy - Friday from New Ash Green to Longfield will depart at 1546 and run 31 mins later throughout.

There will be a new bus from Longfield to New Ash Green on Monday - Fridays at 1608.

433: Buses will run to a reduced timetable throughout the week with some buses being withdrawn.  These buses include

1102 1302 1542 from Bluewater to New Ash Green Monday - Fridays 

1102 1302 1502 1703 from Bluewater to New Ash Green Saturdays 

1015 1215 1415 from New Ash Green to Bluewater on Monday -Fridays

1015 1215 1415 1615 from New Ash Green to Bluewater on Saturdays 

The 1726 Monday - Fridays  from Bluewater to New Ash Green will depart at 1732 and run 6 mins later throughout 

The 1844 Monday - Fridays from Bluewater to New Ash Green will depart at 1849 and run 5 mins later throughout

The  1804  Monday - Fridays bus from New Ash Green to Bluewater will  deaprt at 1810 and run 6 mins later throughout 

480: Buses will be COMPLETELY REVISED AND RUN EVERY 15 MINS DURING THE MAIN PART ON MONDAY TO SATURDAYS WITH

* Buses EXTENDED BEYOND VALLEY DRIVE TO RIVERVIEW PARK

* Buses between Valley Drive and Swanscombe NOW EVERY 8 MINS (Joined with 490)

* 2 Early morning buses will call additionally at Bluewater on Monday - Fridays 

* The Section of route between Dartford to Burham Road will be reduced to EVERY 30 MINS 

489: The Timetable will be revised on Monday - Saturday with buses running every 2 hours instead of currently  1hr 20.

The Longfield Academy School buses will run earlier 

The Monday - Friday bus from New Barn to  New Ash Green at 0940 will no longer run.

490: Buses will be COMPLETELY REVISED AND RUN EVERY 15 MINS DURING THE MAIN PART OF THE DAY ON MONDAY - SATURDAYS WITH 

Buses between Valley Drive and Swanscombe now running every 8 mins (joined with 480)

Later evening/ early morning journeys added on all days with buses leaving Dartford towards Bluewater and Valley Drive at 0145 and 0345 

and journeys leaving Valley Drive at 0035 and 0235.

BUSES WILL RUN EVERY 15 MINS DURING THE MAIN PART OF THE DAY ON MONDAY - SATURDAY TOO

495/496/498/499: THESE BUSES WILL BE WITHDRAWN AND REPLACED BY NEW ROUTES 481 482 AND 483 AND REVISED ROUTE OF 480.

DETAILS OF THESE CHANGES AND NEW TIMETABLES FROM ROUTES (INCLUDING 481 482 AND 483 ARE NOW ON TRAVELINE. ARRIVA SAID THAT THE CHANGES WILL BE ON THE WEBSITE THIS WEEK COMING (COMMENCING 6TH JULY).

Does this mean then that the Fastrack Streetlites will come into service on the same date?

Neil, I can't personally answer your question about the Fastrack Streetlites but will try and find out.

The official version of the Kent Thameside changes is now available on the Arriva website (though as with the rest of its content at the moment, some of it is rather difficult to find due to technical faults that have yet to be addressed).

Looking at the Arriva website the 4 'spare' ex 101 tridents will be transfered GL to NF inorder to run the extended 480/490 to Riverview Park. Certainly looks ad if the new Streetlites will commenced operation on this date on the A and B.
