Nu-Venture KGZ 6145 Service 130A

KGZ 6145 has continued to operate in Lothian colours throughout 2024 and now into 2025, and I photographed it on the morning of 10th July 2024 just before it departed from King Street, Maidstone on a 130A journey.

The 130A is the number used for short workings to Penenden Heath, which normally divert into Sandling Lane to turn at The Hedges, but (now that the works at Bredhurst have been completed) Sandling Lane is being closed off west of Boxley Road starting on Monday 24th February as part of a long-term set of works by SGN - and further disruption is due from 31st March at which point Boxley Road itself is expected to close north of Sandling Lane, making more weeks of diversions necessary for the long-suffering 130 and its passengers!
