KCC potential budget cuts - Cabinet review

The Environmental and Transport Cabinet of KCC have a meeting this Friday 30th November. 

Item 12 on the Agenda is a review of KCC bus funding. It considers the budgetary requirement to make savings of £2.0m in each of the next two financial years, and using the current criteria the impact this would have on the current bus contracts. An appendix lists them. There is no list given of those that would then be retained.

Please read the report carefully. The list is not definitive and is subject to change. Members views are being sought on the issue, the criteria and  public consultation. So things are likely to alter. I will refrain from any direct detail.myself but as it stands the implications as they stand are of some concern.
