... or "my other horse is a bus".

To my surprise, and if you can get a convenient gap in the traffic in the other lane, the White Horse at Rainham isn't a bad bus stop to attempt photography at.

Arriva's "mini" E200 1641 was new in Interurban livery to Tunbridge Wells for use on the 281, but have since translated to Gillingham where they replaced some of the "overdrive" MPDs on routes 145/146 and 164. That said, they do escape regularly to other routes (including the 700!), and a well-loaded example of this is seen on the 132 to Hempstead Valley.

Regular-length E200 YX11 HPN is the newest member of the Nu-Venture fleet, numbered 874. The afternoon journeys that don't serve Twydall run a circular via Hoath Way (which also helps reduce the effects of traffic congestion), hence why it may seem at first glance that the destination blind is for the "wrong" direction. The bus was running quite late when photographed, so rather than having a short pause the driver just had time to change the destination blind and ticket machine and return to Maidstone.

Both taken on 19th August.
