Two Decks to Sittingbourne

It appears that since Chalkwell took on service 334 earlier in the year, the 1100 ex Sittingbourne and 1200 ex Chatham on service 326 are regularly operated by a double-decker on schooldays, as the vehicle starts by working the IB1 school service. 

I had rather forgotten this to be the case, and in any case hadn't checked the timings, so there was something of a hurry on when it came up behind me as I approached the hospital, intending to photograph Nu-Venture's 120/121. I was quite grateful for the queue of Arriva buses at the stop allowing me time to fish my camera out of my backpack, even if my cycle parking left something to be desired... 

Itself relatively new to the fleet, K28 CWL did the honours on 10th October (when I also photographed 6552 in the previous message), seen here on the inward journey to Chatham. I can only surmise that the 5 in the windscreen is a type of running number, although I can't recall having seen them on other vehicles as yet.
