Stagecoach X4 in Sittingbourne & Ospringe

The X4 variant of Stagecoach's Canterbury-Maidstone service has now entered its last week before withdrawal.

In Sittingbourne on Saturday 21st May I found 26240 in West Street (heading for Maidstone) and 26243 in St Michael's Road (just east of the Bus Hub) heading for Canterbury.

Ospringe Street and London Road, Faversham (west of Brogdale Road) will see service levels reduced from the current hourly daytime on Mondays to Saturdays to just school journeys on Stagecoach 3A (which still appears on the new 3/X3 timetable, now available from the Stagecoach website) and Chalkwell 662, so I made a point of capturing 26243 again heading east and 26234 westbound today (Monday 30th May 2022) both passing the Ship Inn in Ospringe.
