Greenway lives on!

Not to be confused with rebuilt Leyland Nationals, this particular "greenway" project was the operation of Volvo B5LH hybrids on London Road routes, heavily promoted by KCC as "electric hybrid power". Unfortunately, KCC don't yet seem to be aware that those vehicles were asset-stripped away to Liverpool after a couple of years, as evidenced by this bus stop at Preston Hall Hospital. How appropriate then, that the picture was taken through the window of Wright DB300 4471, one of the older vehicles that came from Merseyside in exchange for the hybrids.
