Today being the final day of operation of the Arriva contracted Park & Ride service in Maidstone a few images here taken this morning on this and the following e-mails. First 4127 at Willington Street.
(Was meant to be bright sunshine but by the time I got to the two sites it had clouded over!)
It is understood that a preserved M&D Leyland National was also running (not in revenue service) on the route as well as to and from the former sites at Coombe Quarry and Sittingbourne Road but I was unable to check this or track it down. So far as I am aware Leyland Nationals did not appear on the Maidstone P&R services although I stand to be corrected. Certainly not in any of the previous P&R liveries….
