I notice that Arriva 6500 recently transferred from TW to M still carries the garage i/d "plate" TW on the rear nearside panel. There was some discussion on here when TW started applying this i/d lettering to their vehicles which all seemed to be somewhat
unofficial and has not been replicated around the other sites. So I wonder whose responsibility it is to remove such lettering when vehicles are transferred to other operating centres? Not really "query of the week" but something of minor interest. Those
of us of a certain age look at this local initiative and wistfully think back to the M&D days and the excitement of finding a bus operating away from it's designated home! Enabled categorisation as an "unusual working"

Hi Richard, this was implemented by Tunbridge Wells in 2023 in an attempt to help customers on the 7 distinguish between TW and Maidstone vehicles, when the route was a joint operation, should they wish to make a complaint. I would imagine it is the responsibility of engineering to remove any irrelevant/outdated vinyls.
