Educating The Weald: Kent Coach Tours

The final picture from the series of operators serving Homewood School takes the form of Kent Coach Tours' full-size Citaro BX56 VTP, painted as ever in the rather pleasing two-tone blue that has served this operator for many years. 

Kent Coach Tours run two services to Homewood, the public HS1, operated by a double-decker along the main road to 'South Ashford' then Willesborough and Little Burton, and the closed-door HS10, via Kennardington, Hamstreet, Bromley Green and Park Farm to the company depot. Both vehicles should have left to the north, so I was slightly surprised to see this one heading south, and it has become clear that this was a relief vehicle serving the villages, whilst a coach operated to the further points of the route. 

Adjusted passenger numbers mean this duplicate appears to have been withdrawn at the end of the summer term, as I'm reliably informed that only two vehicles are now seen at Homewood. As with the others, this dates from 17th April.
