Another Closed Top Substitution

Despite putting out a full complement of open tops on the 69 this morning, 19135 was changed over for closed top 19417.

Seen arriving at Minnis Bay.

Apparently per FB it rained so hard this morning that 19135 had as much water downstairs than upstairs; hence the substitution

Tracking shows 26252 on the 69 all day today.  Can anyone confirm that was so, and not an ETM error?

Not exactly conclusive, but I did just catch sight of 17529 in the distance in Broadstairs around 10.20 heading for Ramsgate, so I think that makes it the likely culprit, as it doesn’t otherwise track on Sunday.

I went out to intercept at Cliffs End on the 10:54 trip and the vehicle was 17529.

26252 also tracked ton the Thanet Loop (TH10).

Surprising that a single deck has appeared on the route if correct, though I guess that as we are heading towards the end of the season, it's perceived that there will not be a capacity issue. Something for the photo achievers!

Another cautionary lesson about relying on Bustimes – Nicholas was right to be suspicious.

                I would imagine the length of 26252 would have been a problem at some points along the route, had it happened…

17529, 19135, substituted later by 19417 and 15101 were out on the 69 on Saturday 13th, same again on Sunday 14th except 19135 was substituted later by 19136.
