Route 69 is no longer the only Tour in Thanet, as a new "Only Fools & Horses" Jolly Boys Outing Theme Tour started last week, taking in the various filming Locations around Thanet that were used in the 1989 Christmas Edition, with the tour having been advertised on BBC South East Today News and most trips now allready being sold out.
The Operator chosen to run the tours is Carrey's Coach Transport of Broadstairs whose Toursimo BV68OXU, was seen dropping off at Margate Rail Station on the 13th with Stagecoach ALX400 17528 LX51FOM pulling in behind, though in my opinion BV68OXU doesn't have quite the same imapct as the Plaxton Panorama PEL915M that was used in the show, its a shame they weren't able to use an older period vehicle on the tour instead.
