Streetwise 4296 working staff shuttle today.  No sign of the previous 1021.

4296 noted later in the day parked in the lay by Mill Street outside Archbishops Palace. Empty and no driver on board.  Laying over between shuttle duties?  Odd location for that.

1021 has been out of use since at least early June, with AC010 replacing it as the Maidstone crew ferry, all as reported in the last three issues of Invicta.

It's worth noting/adding that to the best of my knowledge, the last known period of sustained use of a full-size bus on the staff shuttles was when 1021 was decommissioned and before AC010 (RX18 LNA) started to be used. As such, I think reports would be welcomed whether this was a one-off (e.g. for some minor work or an on-the-day issue), or over a more extended period, suggesting AC010 may have larger problems or itself have been withdrawn - especially in view of the fact other minibuses are being sold.

AC010 is fairly anonymous, being allover silver and with just a small Arriva fleetname on the front bonnet (although at least it looks like the very tatty front bumper, where paint had been removed with the vinyl, has been tidied up somewhat), so may not necessarily have gained attention - especially as it has also been proven that in certain lighting conditions it can look white - and thus perhaps not immediately identifiable as a member of the Arriva fleet.
