Two reports I received today with photographs from Chatham.

WYV 62T seems to be a recent acquisition from Little Bus, Ilkeston, now fully repainted and with Nu-Venture - unless it’s in the latest Invicta, which I haven’t yet received, it hasn’t been reported before.

A dark blue Enviro 400 demonstrator, running on trade plates, reason unknown.

Pictures of both attached.

Hi Dave,
The blue Enviro is usually parked up at BAE Systems behind Rochester Airport, I think BAE make components for the hybrid ADL products.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/waynesbuses/6101850811/ one I photographed 3 years ago in Chatham, some of these photos ended up in Buses magazine the following year.

Hi David,

I also saw the dark blue Enviro 400 demostrator, but in Gillingham running along Jeffrey Street, perhaps it could be used for suitability trials for Arriva route 101 given the two locations.

Thank you for your thoughts - we’ll have to wait and see.

Wayne,

Thanks for that - I wasn’t aware of that site, or its significance.

The E400 hybrid demonstrator has no connection with Arriva, route 101 or otherwise.

I haven't received the August Invicta either - I hope it hasn't got lost in the post!

I understand Invicta was delayed slightly due to staff shortages at
the printers around the Bank Holiday weekend - hopefully all
subscribers should have received their copy by this coming weekend.
