Just to point there is a apparent error (unless there has been a further change) regarding the 16 as it shows it still going to Saltwood. Now correct me if I am wrong, I thought the 16 was going to be curtailed at Hythe Light Railway Station with the Saltwood section being covered by short workings on the 10A (again) from 31 July 2011? also an extra roundabout as appeared between Hythe and Seabrook too.
Also does the 558 get renumbered 18 from 31/07/2011 please?
Thank you
Brian.

This is correct from the new timetable from (31/07/2011). But it only shows 2 -3 trips during the Mon-Fri peak hours which run beyond Hythe Light Railway Station despite being mentioned on their website that the 16 will continue to serve Folkestone - Hythe - Saltwood hourly. Unless the other journeys between the peaks are being cover by the 10A as mentioned previously?. However I have to wait and see the new Folkestone - Hythe summary timetable when available.
Also with the improved frequency on the 101/102 it appears that the new timetable shows all the morning and evening journeys run through without the change at Lydd Camp (100/101) as there are no trips starting or finishing at Lydd Police Station. If this is so this would be an improvement too as Lydd Camp is not always the best place to change buses particularly in the dark evenings.
Thanks
Brian.
Thanks for that and following printing and studying the 21 pages of the Traveline version of the 16. I am bit surprised those off-peak Folkestone - Saltwood journeys are not included in the main Stagecoach 16 timetable from (31/07/2011) as only the through journeys between Saltwood - Canterbury journeys are shown and it may give the impression that their is no off peak service to Saltwood on the 16. Although those off peak journeys between Folkestone - Saltwood journeys should appear in the new Folkestone- Hythe summary timetable when available and in turn may of superseded the previous plan to renumber these journeys as 10A as previously mentioned in the May 2011 Invicta. It may be and idea to use the number 19 again for those off-peak Folkestone - Saltwood journeys as I believe the number 19 is vacant and would look a uniformly with the renumbered 18 Hythe - Canterbury ex 558 too?
Thanks again
Brian.
East Kent appear to be gradually breaking through the last few remaining
services numbered in the NBC era scheme of things. One wonders how long
other routes such as the 638 and 652 will remain with their current
designations.

Just an idea. The present 11 group (Ashford -New Romney - Lydd), Stagecoach could renumbered it back their original number East Kent numbers as 112/119 to release the 11 number for the 622 replacement and there are 2 further SEK (NBC) 600 service number series too being the school services 645 Hillborough School - Greenhill and the 653 Chartham - Canterbury High School although these could renumbered 45 and 1A for example
The Lydd - Ashford - Canterbury - Thanet link would be interesting. However it appears that long distance bus routes in Kent are thin on the ground partly because of the EU driver hours regulations unless there are regular driver changes or using different service numbers en route like the present 100/101/102.
Myself for example would like to see the following Stagecoach East Kent routes joined up 10/A & 510 Folkestone - Maidstone. 340/400/652 Canterbury - Hastings (Ideal as Stagecoach have obtained the 340 contract), 3 & 333 Canterbury - Maidstone Via Faversham on Mon-Sats (Could jointly operated with Arriva).
Thanks
Brian.
