Two of the vehicles now in temporary use on Fastrack services are on loan from Brighton & Hove, having originally belonged to the Fastway fleet of Metrobus in Crawley.
These retain B&H fleet numbers 6003 and 6013 (BN14 CUH, BN14 CVB) of which 6003 is seen turning from the south end of the new contra-flow bus lane in Bath Street, Gravesend (part of the E route which has replaced Go-Coach C2) into New Road, and shortly afterwards in Garrick Street.

At the time that London General operation began in mid-November, works were still in progress at the latter to install the overhead electrical charging mechanisms, and as of last week 27 of the 28 new electrically-powered buses (to be numbered IE21-48) were already in the country (in storage away from Greenhithe) and the 28th was expected to arrive in the last couple of weeks.  Once the necessary technical works are completed the new vehicles can then enter service, although no date has yet been announced for this.
