Optare Solo SR 48024 entered service at Ashford this week after acquisition from Stagecoach Manchester during May. 

Seen today at Crescent Road, Faversham on service 666.

Sister 48025 is expected to follow in the next few days. I managed to get a snap of it on engineering test in Battle this afternoon.

48025 was noted leaving Repton Park heading for Ashford on the 666 just before 6pm on Wednesday. It was out again on the 666 on Friday and again yesterday. It's not tracking on RVF or Bustimes.

(Side note - The A251 is due to be closed in parts for nearly two months, so I guess the 666 will see some temporary changes. https://www.kentonline.co.uk/ashford/news/a-road-and-school-route-near-motorway-to-shut-for-two-months-308948/)

Optare Solo SR 48025 has joined 48024 at Ashford and was found at a rainy Court St. Faversham on service 666 this afternoon.

Strange they don't allocate one of these to Thanet for the booked Solo working on the 48 (or send the one at Hastings that works routes such as the 31, alternating with a double-decker on the other working! - instead of returning 34442 as they did). Entertaining though it was to catch 34442 from Birchington to Dumpton Park a couple of Saturdays ago, we couldn't help thinking that this route was actually more suited to a Solo.
