Stagecoach East Kent Diversions

Evening all,

Here are some of my thoughts after a visit to Whitstable and Margate on Friday.

So after a good wander around Whitstable, a friend and I decided to get the Triangle service down to Sturry to connect the 8 / 8a service to Margate. 

The service seems to be a little up the wall as after waiting for nearly 40 minutes, and having 1 gone past OOS, 3 turn up almost in a Row. 

It seems that the diversion due to the Sturry Hill Closure is causing major delays, with the diversion my bus took was from Eddington onto the Thanet Way up to the Roundabout with the A 28 at St Nicholas at Wade, then non stop down the A 28 to rejoin the Routing at Sturry  Railway Station. I heard one of drivers saying he was at least 20 minutes late.

Also I noticed 18173 one of the GX54 Tridents were on the 8 Canterbury to Margate service. Also there were at least 5 Darts still in service.
