For those who collect reports of Emergency RR, there was some between Dover and Ramsgate on the afternoon of Monday 25th, and Travelmasters turned out 6 wheeler LW55AHZ for it, apparently even getting it stuck in Martin Mill acording to some locals I know, though I didn't have a camera on me when I saw it that day.

James,

Could you confirm that this was Monday 25th? I was the on duty Train Service Manager for Southeastern that day and can not recall (or find) any RR in the Dover area for that date. Travelmasters were operating Whitstable to Margate due to severe overcrwding on the trains and a train fault caused by a few passengers.

Wednseday 27th had RR between Dover and Ramsgate due to a failed Eurostar outside of St Pancras resulting in delays of upto 90 minutes on Se High Speed services.

It was indeed Monday 25th, on the instruction of the station stuff I departed it at 16.10 from Ashford International to Dover Priory with around 100 rather abusive passengers, who'd spent the last 45 mins trying to harass me to send the Maidstone bus to Dover for them.

Thanks Harry,

I think I know what happened now
