With a number of "our" former vehicles having made their way north of the Thames in recent years, it was no surprise to come across some of them yesterday.
E200 MMC 4111 is of the same batch as that painted in Green Line livery, and was spied on the modern day route 724 at Rickmansworth Station. The eagle-eyed may spot RF13 in the background on the Running Day version of the route, which had gone "around the block" to allow the service vehicle to pass the kerb-restricted stop.
Later in the day, when the wind and rain had set in and it was looking like anything other than what you'd want from the first day of Summer time, more recent swap 4295 was captured entering Watford Junction 'bus station' on a 322, the latest number for the service between Hemel Hempstead and Berry Lane Estate, which I'm sure used to be numbered as a Watford 'town' route 5 and 6...
