South East Bus Festival

There are a goodly number of pictures from this event floating around the usual corners of the internet, which cover all of the entrants from just about all sides. We'll all have our favourites, old or new, local or further afield, but these three caught my eye for various reasons during my "lunch break" away from selling you the new Club publications. 

GoBus 6515 has yet to enter service with the rebranded Go Bus, but showed the company colours off to striking effect during its first formal public appearance. Formerly Transport UK/Abellio 1515, it's a Caetano e-City Gold recently displaced from London route C10. 

Rather more regularly on the road, but largely confined to school service 215, Autocar's VEZ 992 is an E500 transferred from the Farleigh Coaches fleet, following operation by Kent Coach Tours and new in Ireland. The full length was captured on one of the showground's many corners operating extras on the circuit. 

Finally, we made reference in the January or February Invicta to Starline's new rail replacement fleet. First known vehicle for this venture is ex-Metroline LK61 BNN, freshly repainted into this version of the company's light blue bus livery with "Action Stations" fleetname and logo. 

We're grateful to the organisers for forwarding their final list of vehicle entries (141 in total, against 151 bookings), but would welcome reports as to which vehicles operated the various X-series bus services to the event.
