This operator and this vehicle have been mentioned on this group a few times over the years - see https://groups.google.com/g/mdekbusclub/search?q=jessop - but a picture of this quality when the vehicle was still in active service has not previously been available. MKP 810 was in use from new in 10/1950 until Jessop's death in 1969 staying at Frinsted with Percy Jessop's executors until 1973. It seems to have survived subsequently with private owners for preservation in East Anglia (different sources quote Essex and Norfolk).

With help from John's own notes, some of which have survived, we can now date this picture positively to 29 February 1968.
