Ensign Bus museum at Great Yeldham - 6 December event cancelled

In case anyone was planning to attend the event at the new museum next Saturday (6 December) at Great Yeldham, and hadn't yet heard the news, please note this has just been cancelled as contractors are still completing work on site so it cannot be opened until next year.

This is confirmed on the museum's new website at  https://www.zero2busmuseum.com/visit 

It would appear that the Facebook group for which a link was provided on a previous posting to this group has recently been hacked so it has been out of action for the past few weeks, sabotaging any opportunity to make the cancellation known through that mechanism, and although the event has simply disappeared from some listings the reason for it has not yet been widely publicised otherwise.

Although now a relatively minor attraction for bus enthusiasts in comparison, the Maidstone Vintage Toy Fair at Lockmeadow, (which in December always used to clash with the former annual EnsignBus running days) will still be happening, and more detail can be found here -
