As advised under the relevant operator notes in the June Invicta (for those of you who have had a chance to read it - we understand some have had at least a 10-day delay, despite all being posted the same day), buses to the Kent County Show this year are free, with support from the Kent BSIP.

In addition to the longer-standing service X33 provided by Nu-Venture, with three departures from Maidstone East Station/County Hall, a new service X34 is being provided by Chalkwell this year from the Sittingbourne area.

It has been some time since we had a Chalkwell picture on an Invicta cover - a good quality picture (if destination displays and awkward shadows allow), especially if not at Sittingbourne Rail Station, would be a welcome addition to this month's shortlist.
