Metrobus route 284 continues to gain passengers as it winds its way between Tunbridge Wells and the Hospital at Pembury, both over common sections with Arriva, and by not doing what Arriva routes in the area do at the same time.
The "Bus Gate" at Royal Victoria Place has been in place for some years now, and fines are enforced for cars that drive through it. Less substantial in looks than the 'sump busters' as seen in other locations (such as on Nu-Venture's 60), they are also increasing in popularity as bus-friendly infrastructure in various towns across the Club area.
Shadows remain an issue at this time of year, and some of the 'easier' photography spots in Tunbridge Wells are most affected, but here is E200 6767 on the last southbound trip of the day, surrounded by Bus Gate-related signage. The vehicle then goes on to form the 1544 233 to Edenbridge and Lingfield.
