Hi everyone hope your still well, and on Saturday I made a quick visit to a very deserted Maidstone where there was very few people around compared with a pre Covid19 Saturday, infact the only thing missing was a tumbleweed..., and Arriva seems to be gradually restoring services on most routes, with some Routes operating with vehicles that perhaps woudn't normally be used such as Route 59 to Grafty Green which was being operated with Streetlite Bus 4300 GN15CWW instead of the Splinter Vans normally used, when seen at the Sutton Road Morrisons Store stop, while Versa Bus 4233 KX13DHC from Tunbridge Wells Depot? was seen leaving Maidstone Bus Station on Route 6 and Maidstone Depot's 6463 SN58EOM was covering Route 334 after ALX400 Bus 6410 GN04UDZ "Blew its Turbo" on Dettling Hill earlier in the morning, (I know this because I was on it).
Nu Venture Bus were also out their routes too with Dart Buses 708 LK55KMG, 543 MP04BLU and 524 SN03EBZ all seen on Route 23 which seems to be running normally like most of their routes, however I did notice that the Farliegh Coaches operated B150 to Walderslade was not running, and Stagecoach in East Kent was still running Route 10X to its Sunday & Public Holiday timetable for the moment with 36875 GN13EYK seen leaving King Street.

Hi everyone hope your well, and on Saturday I made another visit to Maidstone which was much busier than last month, and Arriva are still gradually restoring services on most routes, with Duplicating observed on Routes 3, 71, 82 and 85, and some Routes still operating vehicles not normally used, such as Route 59 to Grafty Green which this time was being operated with recently repainted Dart Bus 1609 GN04UCZ of Sheerness Depot when seen at Sutton Road Morrisons Store stop, while Maidstone Depot's 4469 MX61AXK was seen in Maidstone Bus Station on Route 72 now wearing an allover advert for Trooli Broadband" which may not have been reported yet, hence why I bothered to snap it.
Nu Venture Bus were also out their routes too with E200 Bus 895 YX60BZN and soon to be withdrawn Dart Buses 524 SN03EBZ: https://www.flickr.com/photos/darrent857/50098316356/, and 531 KV53NHE: https://www.flickr.com/photos/darrent857/50071395193/, all noticed on Route 23 and 25 which like most of their routes are running normally, however I did notice that the Farliegh Coaches operated B150 to Walderslade is still not running, and Stagecoach in East Kent is still running Route 10X to its Sunday & Public Holiday timetable with 18530 GX06DYU seen in King Street.

You may find that want you think is a duplicate 71 is in fact a 72, which only operates every two hours - but at virtually the same time! I see them every day 'in pairs'

The 72 is running hourly from this week (and the 71/A every 15 minutes), despite what was being shown on the summary table of services a couple of days ago – not the only oversights there of the uplifts which have been introduced.

As Clive says, the 72s run very closely behind 71s.
