[Secretary The M&D and East Kent Bus Club]

There are two confirmed appearances for the Club sales stand in the coming months. 

On Sunday 10th August we'll be at the Kent & East Sussex Railway, Tenterden, for their annual bus running day. It will be the third year we've attended (and the third year they've had sales stands), and is a valuable appearance in the "Arriva" end of the county. 

On Saturday 6th September, we'll be supporting the FoTEK Walmer Bus Day again, as we have for many years. 

We're beavering away in the background on a new issue of our annual Independent Operators Fleet Lists (P.41), which we fully intend to have available earlier than usual this year - launching at Tenterden rather than Walmer - retaining the usual cover price of just £5. (if you don't yet have your copy of the Enthusiast's Guide, which was published at this year's SEBF, that's also still available for the same price.)

Otherwise, subject to availability on the day, we expect to have our usual selection of Club publications, second-hand books, timetables and photographs available (the latter generally angled more towards M&D/Arriva at Tenterden and East Kent/Stagecoach at Walmer) at both events, and look forward to seeing you there!
We'd also be delighted to give a "taster session" to anyone who has considered helping behind the sales stand but doesn't know what it entails... just come and chat with us on the day(s) if you'd like to give it a go. 

One final reminder: we are only able to accept cash on the stand at present - especially if buying early in the day, change much appreciated!

An additional date, just confirmed... we'll be at West Kingsdown Village Hall, with the other sales stands, as part of the 100 Years of Swanley Garage event this coming Saturday, 23rd. 

Your Chairman and Secretary* will be manning the stand with the usual selection of goodies, including dusting off the Arriva photograph selection, which we haven't taken to many stands for some years now. We'll also have copies of our Independent Operators Fleet lists, if you weren't able to secure your copy at Tenterden - and this is also now available by all the usual methods for postal dispatch.
