A very unexpected sight passing Dover Eastern Docks this Friday afternoon, was Preserved ex Maidstone & District Buses Bristol VR 5807 PKE807M though I don't know where it was going, but was seen with Stagecoach Trainer 15079 LX09AFJ heading the other way.

It was previously on loan to a school in the Dover area (it is their logo on the back) as a library, but is no longer required there. It will have been moving to a new location (or on a fuelling run in advance of that).

Thanks Chris, and it was indeed moving across Kent to a new home, with Chris Stanley escorting: https://www.flickr.com/photos/rw3-497alh/55213836333/, though I didn't ask where this Preserved vehicle is going, I now know better than that.
I did however discover that for one weekend at least, this spot suddenly seemed to be a good spot to unexpectedly encounter oldies!, as less that 24 hours later I captured an ex Yorkshire Rider/First Group Buses Volvo L305PWR now in Non PCV Use as a PayBus, passing the Docks Roundabout.
