The return of the non-native (AKS 4471)

Having been here since 2017 it's easy to think that the Wright DB300s at Maidstone depot had always been here, before their dispatch to Colchester and Southend at the end of 2024. Only their registrations and retained Merseyside fleetnumbers (gaps and all) really gave the game away. As reported in Invicta 4471 (MX61 AXN) is back at Maidstone currently on loan from Colchester. On Thursday it was happily taken off of 85s and put on the 72 instead, enabling me to intercept it at Larkfield on my return from Lunsford Park. Unfortunately I was unable to picture it before getting on so I had to settle for this town centre shot of its next outward journey (actually its last of the day).
