Final Preparation for Thursday's Presentation

Hi All,

Rhyon and I got together via connect on Tuesday night to practice and
discuss a tentative plan for Thursday. We came up with the following
list adapted from our last big connect session. What do you all think
of the following list?

Affordance 1: (Rhyon) - Synchronized broadcast sharing online.
Affordance 12: (Jeff) Layout and Design, Admin setting
Affordance 2: (Rhyon) - Recorded Lectures
Affordance 3: (Carmen) - Formative Assessment Poll
Affordance 4: (Rob) - Breakout Groups
Affordance 5: (Robert) - Dynamic feedback component
Affordance 7: (Jeff) - Live chat
Affordance 9: (Carmen) - Education File Transfer system
Affordance 10: (Rob) - Online Resource List Pod
Affordance 11: (Robert) - Mobile Learning

? - Face to face/video in a cyber environment
? - Discussion Notes Pod

We figure that we should all limit ourselves to about 10 minutes a
piece. We will also be aiming to get online at 6pm mountain time (I
hour early) to get things set up.

Question: Do you plan on introducing/participating in the presentation
Tim? If so, how do you envision your role? Can you make us all hosts
so that we have power to set up what we want to demonstrate? What
time will you be able to get on?

Suggestions and comments are encouraged.

Hello Rob/Rhyon,

I have posted this in a different thread, but I think this is more
appropriate here.

For affordance 11, mobile learning, I will briefly discuss the main
features of Adobe Connect on these mobile devices: what you can do
with them. I will also talk about some of the caveats on the iPhone:
limited screen space, not all features available, etc. But then I
will
introduce the fact that the iPad has a bigger screen, opening up more
possibilities. Then, I was thinking you can jump in and briefly
explain your experiences using Connect on the iPad.

What do you think?
