Weather:Mostly sunny; 62-76 degrees; fair to good visibility with some haze; winds
northwesterly 5-14 mph gusting to 26 mph
Raptor Observations:Good winds, but few clouds and rain to the south of us led to just a few
migrants.
Non-raptor Observations:Canada Warbler, Indigo Bunting, several Blue Grosbeaks. Monarch butterfly
egg-laying. Eastern Kingbird nest building.

Site DescriptionFort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are
from the southwest.
