Raptor Observations:
A second day of good numbers with a continuation of the westerly winds. Eight species. Two more Mississippi Kites, at 12:44 pm and 3:45 pm clock time. Both unaged. The first was a scope bird seen for about 4 minutes. The second was high and in view for about 5 minutes. Otherwise, Turkey Vultures dominated, but there were decent numbers of Ospreys, Bald Eagles and Broad-winged Hawks.
Non-raptor Observations:
The pair of Eastern Kingbirds has returned to its nest after some wind-blown damage last week.
