Weather:
Mostly cloudy with threats of rain; 70-86 degrees; poor visibility with haze; winds light, often with a south component, 0-9 mph. Low easterly "lake effect" winds made the higher temperatures tolerable. High humidity.
Raptor Observations:
Four Bald Eagles and a Turkey Vulture passed by. We are still waiting for some Mississippi Kites and immature Broad-winged hawks.
Non-raptor Observations:
A dozen Common Nighthawks, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Alder Flycatcher calling

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are
from the southwest.
