On a trip today between Walkersville and Taneytown on 194, we saw 8 hawks on the power/telephone lines. This was about 3:00 this afternoon. The best birds were a dark-morph Red Tail and a Peregrine Falcon. The tear-stains on the Peregrine were very visible. The RT and PG were fairly close to Fountain Rock Rd and Woodsboro Pike (194).
