Dennis Kirkwood's Bullock's Oriole showed itself on the suet feeder between 9:59 and 10:02 this morning, until a Cooper's Hawk flew in and landed in a tree withinh sight of the feeder. It has been 6 minutes and the feeders which were just loaded with birds earlier have remained empty since the Cooper's Hawk's arrival. I'm sure the bird will just wait it out for a little and then return to eat. Good luck!

Showed up again from 1:35 - 1:42 and 1:57 - 2:07 on suet feeder and perched briefly in surrounding trees.

Great bird and great views! Thanks again to Dennis and good luck if you try

Hi everyone,

I went for the Bullock's Oriole [BUOR] as well today and got there at 11:50am.  Tim Houghton showed up a few minutes later.
We both saw the BUOR at 12:23 and it stayed for about a minute and a half when a Red-bellied Woodpecker came to the
suet and scared it off.  The BUOR returned at 12:31 and stayed for another 3-4 minutes, then flew off.  Thanks to Dennis for
getting the word out and letting us view the bird!
